1. How long before it takes effect?

It takes effect in 5-10 minutes. It is recommended to complete the treatment for 20 minutes each time. HeadaTerm offers a drug-free treatment without any side effects.

2. How long does it operate?

It can be used for 7 hours in total, and it is recommended to use the migraine headband for 20 minutes per each treatment round.

3. I feel pain at where I wear the device.

Possible reasons:
1. The electrode is not completely stuck to the forehead and is partially peeled off. Please keep the electrode completely stuck on the forehead.
2. The stimulation intensity is too high. Please press the control button to lock immediately after the power is turned on and adjust to the comfortable electrical stimulation intensity.
3. Make sure the device is turned off before removing from forehead.

4. The gel does not stick?

Adding a drop of water to the gel will increase the viscosity.

How does HeadaTerm work?

Primary headaches, like migraine, are transmitted by the supraorbital nerve and the supratrochlear nerve. HeadaTerm uses none-invasive external Trigeminal Nerve Stimulation (eTNS) technology that introduces electric impulses from the user's forehead to act on these nerves and reduce the migraine signals transmitted. The device avoids any drug effects, making it appropriate for a wide range of users. Every device contains 21 rounds of standard therapies, each standard therapy lasts 20 minutes. The minimum operation span of this migraine device is 7 hours.

Once the device has started, the intensity of the treatment will increase to the strongest level within 5 minutes. You can maintain the intensity by pressing the button once. The HeadaTerm headache band will automatically shut down after 20 minutes of treatment.

    This migraine tens band has been a lifesaver! I am able to function again without taking pain medications that make me drowsy. Easy to use, feels a bit strange at first but well worth it. Definitely will buy again.
