SARS-CoV-2 RAT Antigen Self-Test  – Box of 5 for home and office use

Collection of the sample is relatively simple and comfortable due to the swab only needing to be inserted into the lower nasal cavity. All necessary materials are provided within the kit and there are only 4 short steps to follow in completion of the test.

Instructions for use: 

*Wash your hands before conducting the test. Check expiry date located on the back of the foil’s pouches. Do not use if expiry date has passed.

* Remove swab from packaging. Ensure that you only touch the handle of the swab, avoiding the soft pad tip.



1. Collecting a Sample

Slightly tilt head backwards inserting swab with the soft pad into the front left nostril. Slowly slide the swab approx. 2cm forward, and rotate swab 3-4 times against the nasopharyngeal surface. Withdraw the swab from the navel cavity. Repeat same procedure on the right nostril.

2. Preparing a Sample

2a. Insert swab into the extraction buffer tube. While squeezing the buffer tube, stir the swab at least 5 times or more if needed.

2b. Remove swab making sure to squeeze sides of tube to extract the liquid from the swab.

2c. Pressing the nozzle cap tightly onto the tube. Continue with 3a. Performing a test.


3. Performing a Test

3a. Place testing device on a flat surface and apply at least 3 drops of extracted sample in a 90-degree angle to the well of the test device.

3b. Read the result around 15 to 30 minutes after test has been taken. Warning: do not read test results after 30 minutes as there could be a risk of incorrect results.

4. Interpreting results:

A coloured line will appear in the top section of the result showing that the test Is working properly. This indicates the control line (C) . If no control line is visible the test is deemed invalid.

In the case of a positive test, a coloured line appears in the lower section of the result window within 15minuets. This is the test line (T). Even if the test line is faint , it should be considered as a positive result.
