Shipping Policy

Based on the experience of processing thousands of orders, we aim to provide you with a smooth and fast delivery service. HomeMed ships anywhere within Australia, New Zealand and selective other countries. 

Delivery options are offered as you progress through your shopping cart. Most orders will have multiple delivery options from which the customer can choose the most appropriate for their requirements.

Depending on your order, the warehouse will process the order and with the selected delivery service, an automated detailed order tracking number will be sent to the registered email address.

An estimated delivery date will reflect next to each delivery option. If any item in your order is on backorder this estimate will factor in a minor delay. An email will be sent notifying you of the back order. The delivery dates shown are estimates only and therefore not guaranteed, but we strive to meet (or beat) the delivery date estimate presented. However, there can be no process for reimbursement or compensation should these advisory delivery dates not be met.

The delivery time depends on the following:

  • Stock of the product at the time of your order.

  • The delivery destination of your order.

Processing Time:

Orders placed before 3pm AEST Monday through Friday will be processed on the same day, except for the weekends and statutory holidays. Products ordered after 3pm Monday – Friday will be processed and shipped on the next business day. Products ordered on weekends, public holidays or other non-trading business days, will be processed and shipped on the next working business day. It is recommended that orders be placed well in advance for travelers.

Within the shopping cart there is a facility to have products sent to an address different from the billing address and to add special delivery instructions, such as a preferred day for delivery or directions. Though we cannot guarantee the day of delivery, we will try to follow your instructions and if possible, notify you if we are not able to. Please do not leave instructions for the couriers on your door, as they are unlikely to be carried out.

Shipping Carriers:

HomeMed ships through a few major credible carriers including AusPost, DHL and StarTrack to get your order to you in the fastest and most economical way. Our warehouse lead-time is usually 24 hours, but please note your order may be delayed if a product is on backorder.

Shipping Cost:

HomeMed offers customers Free Standard Shipping across Australia on all orders above $99.00 at HomeMed. Under this option we will use Australia Post to ship your orders.

Express Shipping:

Need your order sooner? If you need your order sent within 48 hours, please select the Express Shipping for your particular order. If you have any other special order/courier requests, please contact us at 1800 767 279 or clearly state it in the order comments section. Due to the variety of product types, sizes and weights, the shipping rates may differ.

International Ordering & Shipping:

We service New Zealand and a few other international countries that will be evaluated on an individual basis. International order delivery times may vary depending on customs clearance. Due to custom processes, HomeMed does not guarantee any delivery estimates for international orders that are placed. International customers are responsible for import duty and/or taxes, if applicable. If duties and taxes are assessed at your Customs office, we cannot be held responsible for those costs.  If you are unfamiliar with customs charges, please speak to your customs office or local postal for more information. It is your full responsibility to verify the customs, duties charges, and procedures in your country prior to placing your order. These are not included in your shipping or product charges.

Delivery of CPAP/BiPAP Machines

Upon delivery of a CPAP/BiPAP Machine, you will be asked to sign for the package. Please make arrangements to have machines shipped to an address where someone will be able to receive the CPAP device. HomeMed reserves the right to open, inspect and change settings on every CPAP machine we sell through the website. Many Fixed Pressure CPAP systems may need to be adjusted to a patient's pressure setting before shipping. If you prefer we ship a CPAP machine in its original state from the manufacturer without us opening it, we may be able to accommodate you if the default pressure setting of the machine you're purchasing is your prescribed pressure, or if you're buying an automatic CPAP machine and the default range of the automatic CPAP machine is inclusive of your prescribed pressure setting.
